# Mohannad Arbaji
> Mohannad Arbaji is dedicated to building technology that expands global access to opportunity, drawing from his personal experiences. After growing up in Jordan and receiving a scholarship to study in the US, he pursued higher education at Brown University, where he focused on engineering and economics. He has a background in founding educational ventures, including a company that provided SAT prep for ELL students, and later worked in big data software engineering. His current focus is on Chalktalk, an edtech company launched in 2020, which partners with school districts to improve learning experiences by integrating technology into teachers' existing workflows. Arbaji is passionate about addressing challenges in access to opportunity, learning design, and the balance between institutions and networks.
